Carianne Pritchett

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I’ve had the privilege of helping people work through their stories in order to find healing and hope in the midst of life’s challenges. Over time, my passion grew, beyond traditional counseling, toward a broader vision—empowering individuals and organizations to thrive by enhancing their emotional intelligence skills.

As the Founder and CEO of Full Life, I am focusing more on building emotional intelligence in the Greater New Orleans community.

As an emotion couch, my vision is to see emotional intelligence transform communities into healthier, more resilient versions of themselves. I believe that when people understand their emotions and learn how to respond with wisdom, they not only strengthen their own lives but also help create families, workplaces, and neighborhoods marked by connection and hope.

My approach is faith-informed. I see God as the giver of our emotions and, therefore, the true expert in emotional intelligence. This perspective allows me to guide others in a way that honors both their humanity and their spirituality, helping them integrate faith and practical tools for lasting change.

At the heart of my work is a simple mission: to help people build stronger relationships, lead with empathy, and create a future that reflects resilience and wholeness—for themselves, their families, and their communities.

Emotion Coaching

Emotion Coaching is a proactive, skills-based approach that helps people recognize, understand, and respond to emotions in themselves and others. Unlike traditional therapy, which focuses on healing past wounds and addressing mental health concerns, Emotion Coaching is forward-looking. It emphasizes growth, resilience, and practical tools that can be applied immediately in daily interactions—whether at home, in the workplace, or in the community.

For leaders and organizations, Emotion Coaching offers a powerful advantage. It equips teams with the emotional intelligence skills needed to improve communication, strengthen collaboration, and reduce conflict. By learning how to manage emotions effectively, leaders cultivate healthier work cultures where people feel valued, heard, and motivated to contribute their best.

At its core, Emotion Coaching isn’t about fixing problems—it’s about building capacity. It empowers individuals and organizations to navigate challenges with clarity, lead with empathy, and create environments where people thrive.
